Is it really Valentine’s Day this Friday?!?! Wasn’t it just January?!? But, here we are and my kids LOVE coming up with ideas and putting them together. Today I am focusing on Matti Jane’s Valentine’s. She actually changed ideas this past weekend (insert rolling eye emoji…hahaha). Originally we were going to do chocolate covered Oreo pops, but she decided wanted to go with a game she LOVES…Tic Tak Toe. We literally play tic tac toe with the kids every. single. meal out.
So, I went to the first place I always go to for creative ideas…Pinterest. I found this Pin and loved it. Thank you Craft Remedy Blog!! Free printable and all!!
This was honestly one of the more simpler Valentine’s we have done. Truly, the hardest, or most time consuming part was cutting out the printable. I did that while the kids were at school and for me, personally, I do not mind doing that…kind of relaxing actually. I sent Peter on the Hershey Kiss run at CVS and everything else came from Michael’s.
The beauty of this one is 2 fold for me – it is unisex and there is still time to do it!!!
Supply List
- Cardstock (I used Shimmer for a bit of fun)
- Clear Bags
- Scissors
- Stapler
- Hershey Kisses
Just print away, then cut away, then divide the Kisses in sets of 8 – 4 of one color and 4 of another color so 2 kids can play.
I did not take a picture of the back, but Matti Jane signed the back of the play card so that her friends know it’s from her 🙂
Happy Valentine’s Day, XOXO, Matti Jane
