Monday was a professional day at Matti Jane and Chandler’s school. Around 3 PM on Sunday afternoon, Chandler realized it was going to be an all GIRLS day and got so excited. It was so sweet. She asked if we could go to “the mall” and do “girl things”. I thought about it and realized that because we live about an hour and twenty minutes to the closest mall, they really don’t get the “mall” experience…which explained their excitement.
We headed to Pentagon City Mall as that was the closest and we were on a time crunch, we had to be back to get Shay from school. I soon realized at the Mall, there were not many kids stores. We hit GAP (the girls were dying over these PJs, we got Shay these and how cute and comfy are these outfits (tie dye sweater & matching leggings) for the girls?), Abercrombie & Fitch (I grabbed these sweaters AND these jeans for me), and darn Claire’s. Oh my gosh, they are obsessed with Claire’s. Earrings and lip gloss and we were out of there.
We actually had time to stop by the National Harbor Outlets and ran into Crewcuts and Ralph Lauren. I saw so much I was loving at Crewcuts, but they didn’t have most of the sizes I wanted. So, I grabbed the girls headbands and then came home with my list to punch out for Thanksgiving.
I really like these dresses, they were the first things I picked up. Unfortunately they didn’t have both girls’ sizes but they are perfect for so many casual outings.

Girls’ Printed Ruffle-Collar T-Shirt
The matching skirt!! Polka dot is so timeless and I am loving that it’s having it’s moment!!
They will wear this vest to break up the polka dot. I love the soft pink against the navy. Plus, I will probably have them monogrammed 🙂
(Also, I mentioned this somewhere, but we rocked a navy blue and pink color theme for our Christmas card…not even these same outfits. Clearly I am having a thing for the color combo and love that it works for the holidays even though it’s not the traditional color scheme.)
How adorable are these!?! Perfect with the skirt as well as skinny jeans!! Use code SOFANCY for an additional 20% off.
How timeless is this holiday tartan pattern?? And I love the paperbag waste detail…so darling!! Perfect for Christmas!! Use code SOFANCY for an additional 20% off.
Girls’ Sleeveless Paperbag Waste Dress
So, the girls are dying over headbands. I think they’ve been watching Mommy quite a bit and it’s the biggest compliment 😉 I grabbed these for them. Use code SOFANCY for an additional 20% off.
Girls’ Printed Knotted Headband
As I was walking into Crewcut on Monday, I saw that they combined this shirt with the almost identical matching tie in the window. Never would I have put them together but when I saw it, I fell in LOVE immediately. I can’t wait to show you guys…it was adorable!! Use code SOFANCY for an additional 20% off.
Boys’ Long Sleeve Tartan Flex Shirt
And, here’s the almost matching tie. I think it works because they don’t match exactly. Use code SOFANCY for an additional 20% off.
This sweater goes with anything when it’s cold outside. Holidays or not. If it is extra cold on Thanksgiving, I may throw this over Shay’s shirt. Use code SOFANCY for an additional 20% off.
