Happy Tuesday. To say I am not ready to be home is quite the understatement!! I mean, I missed my babes, but WOW, we just had the best couple vacation and I am badly missing the turquoise waters.
We arrived on Wednesday afternoon. We excitedly checked out house out, blew up our fun floats, hopped in the pool for a second then headed straight to the gorgeous waters right outside our house.
(My travel sweatsuit – sweatpants (ON SALE!) and sweatshirt (ON SALE!))
We took our glasses of champagne down to the water with us and when Lucas saw our empty glasses, he came down to fill them!! We didn’t even have to pay him, hahaha. Talk about service!!
How amazing was our view?!?!
The 3 of us have become quite the champagne drinkers 🙂 I found these sweatshirts on Etsy and “champagne weekend” definitely became the theme of the long weekend!!
Thursday, we woke up and RELAXED!! Wow, what a feeling!! The guys headed out on the kayaks and paddle boards. Us gals took a walk along the beach and then headed back take advantage of the amazing water.
Thursday evening, we had a reservation at Coco Bistro. We got a bit fancy and loved our adult dinner.

Local friends, Nicole’s ADORABLE dress is from the local boutique, Bourbon and Bows
Friday morning, we arranged for yoga at our house. It started to rain 30 morning before the instructor came. We had the outdoor area where we could move furniture and all 6 of us fit perfectly. If you head to Turks & Caicos and are looking for a private yoga session, I highly recommend Kim Mortimer.
The ladies wanted a little extra time with Kim 🙂
We got in a little extra relaxation, reading and paddle boarding before we headed out for a boat tour.
Then it was time for a boat tour, snorkeling and time on a private island. The snorkeling was AMAZING!! Amanda and Lucas have a GoPro which I had never considered before, but after they capture pictures of us snorkeling, I may be sold. This afternoon was a major highlight for all of us!!
While we were on the boat, the captain told us how amazing the mangroves are and paddle boarding was the ideal way to see the wildlife. This was not part of our original itinerary, but OH MY GOODNESS, this was SO amazingly cool. I HIGHLY recommend this!! Both, the private boat charter and the mangrove paddle boarding, we went through Big Blue Collective.
Let’s just say, we are already planning our next trip to Turks and Caicos with the kids. Truly amazing!!
