A couple of weeks ago, my old Redskins teammate and old coach reached out to ask if I could help judge the Preliminary round of the Redskins Cheerleading auditions. Peter and the kids went to Alexandria to run errands while I was at FedExField but Matti Jane and Chandler’s questions were endless about what I was doing and what I did when I actually cheered. I asked the girls if they would like to go to the Final Auditions and let’s just say there was no lack of excitement.
This past Friday night was the Washington Redskins Cheerleading Final Auditions. I took Matti Jane and Chandler, my girlfriend Nicole brought her daughter Lilly and my other girlfriend Amanda came too…such a fun girls night out!!
The girls were BEYOND excited and just could not understand how Mommy knew so many people there 😉 They truly do not think I had a life before they came along 😉
These girls in the picture above…so many amazing memories and even BETTER friendships.
GeNienne and I were both rocking sequins. She and I do not see each other enough, but cheering together for 8 years, we miss one another dearly and definitely squeal like 6 year olds when we see one another!!!
She was the co-host for the night and did an AMAZING job!!
Chandler was asleep about half way through. But, to her credit, it was 4 hours long, so she hung as long as she could 🙂
These are the 61 finalists. Congratulations to each and everyone of them for making it this far!! But, only 34 girls were able to make it.
