One of these years, I will get these tutorials out a couple of weeks before Valentine’s Day versus the day of. By that time, the kids will be too old for them :-/.
These have been the least time consuming and EASIEST Valentine’s I have done so far. That is a MAJOR WIN!! Usually I am so annoyed by the time I have spent on the Valentine’s, that I don’t even like them by the end.
I got the “got my eye on you/sunglasses” idea from my girlfriend Kelley…it was one of her 3 daughters’ Valentines. I then searched on Etsy for an inexpensive download. $5…DONE!!
Supplies –
Digital Download – $5
Plastic Sunglasses – $6.23/dozen
Washi Tape – $2.99
Decent Card Stock – $8.67

STEP 1 – Purchase, download and print out the downloads…these printed out 2 to a sheet. I choose thicker card stock to ensure the sunglasses would stay attached.
STEP 2 – This was the only time consuming part, cutting the card stock out. I watched the Olympics while cutting, so time flew.
STEP 3 – I then cut a 1 1/2″ of washi tape to apply the sunglasses to the card stock. This was super simple…did you see my video on Instagram stories?!?!
TADA…how cute!?!? And, at a total of $35.35 for THREE kids Valentine’s…DONE!!
