Friday Five Finds under Fifty

So, I am totally guilty of already being in the holiday spirit.  Not quite over the top roll-your-eyes at me level, just feeling it 🙂  I am definitely binging on Hallmark Christmas movies, however, I have not put Christmas music on or put one decoration up.  I am a fan of getting through Thanksgiving before that begins.

I do believe, however, in being prepared!!  I usually try to have a casual holiday look and a dressy holiday look prepared.  In general, these picks from J.Crew Factory are pretty casual…preppy, chic and classic.  But, the plaid skirt would be so good for a dressier event…and under $50!!

Long Sleeve Shirt with Tartan Plaid Pocket – $38.50

There is not much classier than a button down blue and white striped shirt…then had a classic plaid like tartan on it…OMG!!  I just adore this pop of festive…not so subtle but certainly not in your face.  LOVE and will probably get it!!

Long Sleeve Ruffle Front Top – $39.50

I am sure you know now, that I am having a major bright red crush.  Between this sweater, this scarf and my Blu Red Lips, I am totally digging it.  I adore this top because it’s perfect for work, church, happy hour or any holiday get together.  Wear it with crisp jeans, a black belt and fabulous black heels or black flats.

Pleated Mini Skirt – $44.50

I mean, how cute is this skirt?!?!  I would probably wear it with a black turtleneck sweater like this one or this one (what a great pop of FUN with the cutout).  Truly, perfect for ANY holiday event.

Bow Neck Sweater – $46.50

I think this sweater is my favorite piece in this Five under Fifty edition.  That bow is so sweet and feminine and just timeless.  I love that it can be worn with jeans or with a skirt  like this Plus Size Faux Leather one or these velvet slacks to any event, not just holidays.

Midrise Skinny Jean in Velvet – $46.50

Velvet is truly everywhere.  You wear these and you’re on top of your fashion game.  I love that they can be dressed up or down…a chunky turtleneck sweater only partially tucked in the waist with these flats or with a festive fun shirt and these black heels.
