Nordstrom Semi-Annual Sale

So, why is the Semi Annual Sale at Nordstrom such a big deal?!?!  Mostly because it is the first time we are seeing Fall pieces and tons of them on ON SALE!!  And, if you have a Nordstrom Debit or Credit Card, you get EARLY ACCESS beginning today.  If you don’t, you can take advantage of the sale beginning on the 21st.

There are a lot of items that are perfect staples for Fall and you really should take advantage of the Sale…sooner than later because items sell out.  Booties, jeans, leather (real or faux) jackets…worth buying!!  I also think if a higher end item is on sale (like the Tory Burch and Longchamp bags), DO NOT HESITATE!!

I have a very similar pair of booties and wore them all. the. time. last Fall and Winter.  I LOVE wearing them with dresses when it’s Fall and Spring…they are so flattering on the leg!

I just adore the height of these boots.  I usually order my Hunter’s in kids sizes because my foot is small enough and I can save some money BUT they are also shorter and therefore more flattering on my shorter-than-I’d- rather-them-be legs.

Hunter Refined Shorter Rain Boot – Sale $119 Post Sale $185

Oh Emm Gee…these are so darn cute!!  I love the embellishment and the suede is perfect for cooler months.  Mules are not going anywhere anytime soon.  These with skinny jeans and a classic blazer is pretty much perfection!!

Kate Spade Cavell Loafer Mule – Sale $169.90 Post Sale $278

These are an investment, even at the sale price.  I held off for a couple of years but was so mad at myself for waiting so long.  I wear them constantly in the cold weather with leather leggings or just regular black leggings and big comfy sweaters and they’re AMAZING!!

Stuart Weitzman Elevated Over the Knee Boot – Sale $499.90 Post Sale $798

Cardigans grew on me last Winter…I do love how chic they have become.  I used to feel like I was wearing one of my Grandmother’s old sweaters…y’all know the dated ones I am talking about…haha.  But they are truly the perfect top layer in the colder months.  I like to slim the outfit with skinny jeans or leggings.

I was sold at these sleeves….so cute and chic and at under $60, I am not breaking the bank.  LOVE this one!!

Ruched Bell Sleeve Cardigan – Sale $58.90 Post Sale $89

This jacket is SO GORGEOUS!!!  I purchased a vegan leather one last year during this sale and wore it A LOT.  Now, I am craving that buttery soft real leather!!  The quilted pattern is so classic and I am loving this jacket because of it!!

Badgley Mischka Eloise Quilted Leather Moto Jacket – Sale $247.90 Post Sale $495

This is an easy sweater to throw on Saturday AMs when you’re running mornings and need to be chic and comfortable.  The bell cuff makes it on trend and at that sale price, it’s a no brainer.

Ruffle Bell Cuff Sweater – Sale $31.90 Post Sale $49

How cute is this top?!?!  I mean, you’re basically wearing PJs all day and looking so darn chic while doing so!!

Tie Front Pullover – Sale $45.90 Post Sale $60

I purchased a couple of Free People sweaters last Fall and was SHOCKED at how much wear I got out of them.  They truly were my go-to’s for any outing.  I could dress them up or dress them down and they remained so chic.

I have had this bag for almost 7 years and use it when I travel for so much.  Longchamp is a CLASSIC and I revived mine after I visited France a couple of years ago, because ladies, that was the bag of choice I saw EVERYWHERE.  So Parisian of me 😉   Get it while it’s on sale.  This is a piece that will NEVER go out of style.

Tory Burch is such a quality retailer and her products are classic yet always on trend.  This bag is gorgeous with the pink and gold and at under $300, it’s a steal for a TB Handbag.

I purchased uneven hem jeans last year during this sale and LOVED them.  I worried they were too trendy, but I wore them all Fall and Winter and they truly took each level up a notch.  Such a subtle detail that goes so far on the fashion wheel.

Hudson Colette Step Hem Jeans – Sale $129.90 Post Sale $198

So, 6 months after Matti Jane was born, I purchased a pair of Hudson boyfriend jeans, and people, I still wear them A LOT.  Yes, I have had them patched a couple of times, but it’s because for a while, they were truly the only jeans I wore.  Trust me when I tell you, you’ll get YEARS of wear out of Hudson jeans.  Grab them while they’re on sale.
