Little White Dresses Perfect for Summer

The inspiration for this post was actually tonight’s birthday celebration for my sister.  We are going on a dinner cruise in Old Town Alexandria.  Earlier this week, I was thinking about what I was going to wear tonight and it hit me…this is probably the ONLY event this year I can wear white when I am celebrating my sister.  As you know, she’s getting married in December.  So…I won’t be wearing white at her bachelorette party or any of her showers…I am running with it tonight.

There are so many feminine details on this georgette dress that I adore.  The flower appliqué, the lace trim, the cold shoulders and of course the double layer with the sophisticated see-through.  I would wear this wine tasting with wedges or gladiators or a dinner date with the hubby.

My favorite detail is the length of this dress…there is always a time to wear a mini dress.  The lace and extended bell sleeves make this dress classy and stunning.  I would wear this out with the girls with my favorite nude heels.

Just sooooo romantic.  The hemline and off the shoulder ruffle on this dress have me swooning.  I love this dress for comfortable romance and digging the crochet giving it a boho feel.

Eliza J Bell Sleeve Fit and Flare Dress – $158

This dress is so classic and sophisticated.  The structure would be flattering on anyone.  I also ADORE the modern nude bottom layer, yet love the vintage vibe with the lace overlay.  I would wear this to church, baby showers or even work events.

I have been eyeing this dress for a LONG time.  It is a splurge but is currently ON SALE!!!  The lace has a modern feel and the shoulder ruffles keep it feminine and elegant.
