Singing the Monday Blues

I don’t actually have the blues…just having some word fun with the blue striped shirt 🙂   We had an action packed weekend.  Friday afternoon Peter and I headed to DC to see Eric Church in concert with some friends.  GREAT time!!  Saturday morning started with the girls’ lacrosse practice at 9 and then headed home to change from uniforms to dance recital costumes and makeup.

The recital was adorable.  Chandler (4) was that dancer that wouldn’t let go of her instructor on the stage and would not do the dance they had been practicing for months.  It was actually adorable.  We consider it a success that she got on stage because she literally would not let go of me when it was time to drop off before the recital.  Matti Jane (6) on the other hand did amazing…she truly loves dance.  Right now she thinks her two loves are soccer and dance.   I asked her about lacrosse and her only complaint is that it is always cold when she has practice :-/  But she has been asking about horse back riding lately.  I am excited about that, Peter is not 😉

Back to fashion…this top is subtle yet those ruffle sleeves make it super fun and on trend.  And, it’s $23.11.  I know, ridiculous.  I paired it with my staples…my Levi boyfriend jeans, my nude pumps and my old faithful Louis 🙂
