5 Trends that are IN and OUT for 2017

One of my besties who happens to be obsessed with fashion as much as I am sent me a link about 5 trends that are IN for 2017 and the 5 trends that we can say goodbye to.

IN – STRIPES, SNEAKERS, ARTISTICALLY INSPIRED PRINTS, EASY ELEGANCE (athletic inspired pieces) and MULES

I am honestly psyched about all 5 of these.

Stripes are so timeless, classic and preppy so I am always on board for them!!

Sneakers, well, they are so darn comfortable so accessorizing your favorite dress with sneakers sounds amazing to me!!

Artistically inspired prints makes me step out of my fashion comfort zone and I thing it’s fun 🙂  How gorgeous is this ASOS Curve Tropical Print Dress?!?!?  Or these stunning Low Block Heels??

Easy elegance is so fun.  Wearing Adidas joggers with a crisp white button down…so darn chic!!

Mules are something I am getting ready to dive into.  I have my eye on two pairs…this pair is gold and looks so comfy and this pink mule is for a night out and FUN!!

OUT – CORSETS, STRETCHY JEANS, LINGERIE DRESSING, HEELS 4 TO 5 INCHES OR HIGHER and CLEAN CLASSIC SNEAKERS

I was never a fan of the corset over blouses…it just didn’t do it for me.  I can appreciate fashion forward but it wasn’t something I was willing to try or spend money on.

Stretchy skinny jeans is something I am going to CRY over…for a while.  My theory with skinny jeans is that it allowed us to wear loose and flowy on top and I loved that combo.

I did like the lingerie dresses and skirts…some gals pulled it off so gorgeously and femininely.  I personally never wore the trend so I won’t be too sad it’s heading out.

OH MY GOSH…how excited are all of us that 4 to 5 inch heels are OUT?!?!?  Can I get an AMEN!?!?  Don’t get me wrong, I wear 4 inch heels and they do amazing things for the leg but are NOT comfortable.  Anyone that says they are are completely, totally fibbing!!

I also can appreciate a clean classic sneaker so that’s a bummer BUT, designers are having such fun with prints on sneakers that it’s ok with me.
