J.Crew Spring New Arrivals

Once I completed my list of FAVORITES from J.Crew’s Spring New Arrivals, I realized I am bottom heavy.  BUT, I can justify it.  The Tulle and Seersucker skirts will look best with a crisp white button down (popped collar OBVI) and the Tie-Waist Shorts and Morning Floral Linen Pants will also look great with simple shirts.  The emphasis should be put on the bottoms.

Pink Striped Boatneck Shirt

I have basically had this exact shirt for about 3 years and wear it all the time.  I wear it with shorts, with white jeans and regular denim.  It’s timeless

Pink Tulle Ball Skirt 

Obviously I am crazy girly.  I love being a gal and it certainly shows through my wardrobe.  This piece is crazy girly and it should be worn A LOT both dressed up and dressed down.  I own a couple of tulle skirts but not a pink one…

Seersucker Ball Skirt 

I DIED when I saw this skirt.  It’s one of those pieces that I didn’t realize I have been looking for my entire life.  I am going to wear this skirt to an outdoor vineyard wedding this Summer.  The length allows for wedges so heels outside won’t be an issue, I will dress it up with crisp white button down and statement earrings and then later in the summer, for a BBQ, I will wear it with a white cotton tank and tennis shoes!!

Pink Tie-Waist Short in Cotton Poplin

Um, anyone that knows me, knows these have my name ALL OVER THEM.  You will definitely get tired of seeing them on me this Spring and Summer #sorrynotsorry  I will more often wear them with heels and probably a pink top for a matchy matchy feel.  Other times will be with a summer sweater and flats or sneaks.

Full Length Linen Pant in Morning Floral

Just LOVE these bold and fun pants.  Again, I would keep the top simple to keep the eye one place…those bright florals!!

Chambray Off-The-Shoulder Dress with Tie Waist

This is just a staple piece.  The OTS detail gives it a feminine and romantic touch.  The tie-waist makes it flattering instead of frumpy.  This could be worn to drinks out with friends, a backyard BBQ…truly anywhere in the Spring and Summer.
