Hey guys!! I thought I had published this last Tuesday…obviously not 😉
Have you done Wine & Design yet?? I had only done it once at the actual studio and had a blast. But, when one of my closest, dearest besties was having a birthday, I thought it would be fun to have the party for her at my house. I just thought we could be “us” a bit more and not worry about being embarrassed in case we said anything inappropriate (which was very likely…aka having FUN!)
So, I started on the usual party decorating details…
Fresh flowers…from Giant.
Even though we were having pizza from Ledo’s (easy peasy), I still wanted to having it served on pretty plates. My parents gave me a couple of these monogrammed plates for Christmas.
I had seen a “Birthday Cake Mimosa” video on Facebook and HAD to make it. It was actually very easy to make and we all loved it. Let me know if you want a tutorial 🙂
Enjoying our drinks pre-painting
Before the artist arrived, I had set up the table with plain canvas aprons and fabric markers with the intention of us personalizing our own aprons. Well, we were having too much fun chatting and drinking our Birthday Cake Mimosas to get to that 😉
And, as usual, we enjoyed some of Kathryn’s Crafty Cakes personalized and DELICIOUS cookies!!
This was our painting goal. Myself and a couple other gals picked this one out. We wanted something that we could actually use…whether it is in our home, or even in our garage.
Let the painting begin 🙂
The finished product!!!
Honestly, we had SO MUCH FUN!! I highly recommend it. It isn’t even much more expensive when you host at home vs in the studio. Everyone pays online the regular $35 fee and I paid just a bit more for the travel expense (I think $50).
My Outfit –
// Sea Duchess Sleeve Shirt (I am truly obsessed with this shirt…you will see me in it A LOT. The sleeves/shoulders make it on trend, but it’s still such a classy shirt.) // Levi’s High Waisted Boyfriend Jeans (I wear these pretty much every single day…I am a Levi’s FOR LIFE gal now!!) // Shoes // Earrings //
