Hi friends!! This past Saturday was my sister and her fiancé’s Engagement Party. It was so gorgeous…the people there, the location, the food and the decorations…all perfect.
I had mentioned before that Colleen and Ahmed wanted to keep this party small and intimate. It was immediate family and bridal party members.
Here are 4 of the ring bearers and flower girls.
The bride-to-be looked STUNNING in red!! I ordered Matti Jane and Chandler’s sequin pants from Etsy.
The groom-to-be…sitting beside his Dad 🙂
Shay’s face eating his bread…OOOHHHH, I am obsessed with him!!
This little girl and her Shirley Temple HAS MY HEART
Colleen and her future mother-in-law
Colleen’s future sister-in-law, Neeva (also a bridesmaid) and her husband Steve and beautiful daughter Sufia (also a flower girl)
The Mujumders 🙂
My niece Marlee Jean…those big brown eyes!!
The two youngest flower girls meet – Sufia and Marlee
How happy and cute are they!?!?
Like I mentioned above, Colleen and Ahmed wanted to throw the party themselves…so I was limited to the invitations and a table of decorations.
I finally bit the bullet and bought my favorite table cloth ever!! There are SO MANY occasions I’ll use it!!
This LOVE balloon is my favorite decor detail…so sweet!!
The gorgeous cake was done by Kathryn’s Crafty Cakes and was AMAZING!!
I found this chalkboard date marker on Etsy. Ironically, one of the waitresses mentioned that Colleen & Ahmed met on 8/31…8 letters, 3 words, 1 meaning (I LOVE YOU) Pretty special….
We also incorporated some of the pictures Tom took from the actual engagement as well as the stick people engagement cookies, again from Kathryn’s Crafty Cakes.
How adorable is this cake topper…Colleen found it on Amazon!!
Colleen and Ahmed are getting married on December 2nd, so they are definitely incorporating some Christmas details. Their Instagram tag may be my favorite – #merrymajumders. I used the same Etsy vendor that I used for the invitations to do the Instagram sign for consistency.
Besides the table, I also printed out the menus…just for a personal touch. I also added a teeny tiny rhinestone over the ‘i’ in Congratulations for a teeny tiny touch of bling. And included an engagement cookie (favor) at each table setting.
Most pictures were captured by the fabulous Tom Turk.

Love the table cloth. Where did Colleen get her dress and shoes? Red is my favorite color so of course I’m loving loving her look. The cookies are super cute. You need to plan events on the side. 🙂

Hey! Thank you 🙂 Her dress is from Zara and her shoes are from Target..remember my post from this summer where I was wearing all denim and those red shoes. She got them then.
