Hostess Gift Guide

You guys, I seriously think I may love giving more than receiving (not if you ask Peter though…hahaha).  Especially, with hostesses…for some reason, these are my favorite gifts to give.  I truly try and take time and like them to be things the recipient will truly enjoy.  As with BFFs and Sister, I use myself as a guide…”would I like or love to receive this”…or “would I truly never use it??”

This time of year, I tried to consider my hostess when giving their gift.  For example…do they have young kids and would enjoy something like a “fun Christmas” gift to enjoy with their kids.  Are they a newly married couple that just loves to host parties year round??  Are they crazy over Christmas and want anything and everything Christmas??  I also try to give something personal…maybe earrings or a bracelet instead of a traditional Christmas gift.

BUT, the best advice I can give is to try and plan these gifts.  Because, if you’re like me and wait till the morning of, you end up buying something you’re not so excited to give your hostess.  I try to look at my upcoming month and plan accordingly.  I am just happier that way 😉  Plus, if I can order it instead of driving to a store, that’s a WIN in my book!!
