The Kids’ Happenings

Things are busy in our house as I am sure they are with you guys.  You plan on things slowing down…but does that ever really happen?!?!

Right now, we are focused on Halloween costumes, rain boots and Christmas card picture outfits.

Halloween costumes is a given.  Rain boots are just a silly necessity.  Shay was recently upset because the girls had new ones and he didn’t have any since he had outgrown his LL Bean ones.  So, that happened recently…

But, Christmas pictures…I know, you are probably shaking your head.  But, let me explain…

I am probably overly type A with the Christmas card pictures BUT, I am learning things about myself.  From years past, I have put them off until November…because that time makes more sense, right?!?!  No…because by then, it’s hard to find time with a photographer because all of the organized, plan-ahead families have had theirs scheduled and the photographers are booked.  We take one ourselves and I am ALWAYS disappointed.   AND then I miss the Black Friday deals on the sites I use to actually order the cards.  So there you have my justification.  Anyone else as neurotic as me?!?!
