There is SO MUCH I want to chat about with this shoot!! I’ll stick to the outfit since this is a fashion blog after all ;-), BUT if we had all the time in the world I would tell you about this bike (my Mother’s Day gift), my hat, my obsession with J.Crew for their quality and classy pieces and how much fun my friend, who was taking the pictures, and I were having the whole time!!
I purchased this pink and white boatneck shirt from J.Crew about 3 years ago. I still wear it all. the. time. The quality is unreal…I would have certainly expected some pilling after all these wears…none. These particular shorts are also a purchase from a couple summers ago and I love how comfortable they are. I usually keep them pretty casual but because of the subtle damask pattern on them, I could dress them up pretty easily. AND, these shoes…well it’s just a crazy obsession. If you couldn’t tell before, after this post you should know, I’m a PINK gal. These shoes go with so many of my outfits, all four seasons. And for those that truly know me, this is such a “ME” outfit…pink, casual and feminine.

I knew I needed the bike too!!! The funniest part though was when my husband said to me “I imagined putting pink bikes together for my daughters, but didn’t think I would be for my 37 year old wife” hahaha Good thing he loves me 😉

Oh Ruthie I wish I could have done a better job of showing this property!! My girlfriend lives on this farm that’s a couple hundred acres (we live in the country ;-)) but this farm isn’t your regular farm! I didn’t know it was here and I was born and raised here!! Any who…that’s another post 😉
