Happy Hump Day!!  Halfway through the week and then it’s LABOR DAY WEEKEND!!  Today I have my 2 year old’s ‘Mom’s Day Out’ Open House.  Oh Em Gee is right!!  Tomorrow is my 3 year old’s (but she’ll be 4 on Saturday!!!!) Open House for 3-4 Preschool!!

“Easy like Sunday morning” is what this outfit says to me.  Don’t we all own a button down white shirt, jean shorts of some kind and hopefully booties?!?!  If you don’t own the booties yet…DO NOT HESITATE.  Please take my word on how much wear you will truly get out of them!!!

I am sure you guys have guessed by now, I adore monochromatic outfits.  What I specifically love about this look is the difference in textures.  I love the ruffles on the top and the lace on bottom.  Both so feminine but done so humbly in black.  This outfit reminds me of my style when I worked in a traditional office setting…so me!

Did everyone have a good weekend??  I have so much fun this past weekend, and definitely dragging this morning because of it.  All worth it though.  My husband and I made last minute plans to go to an outdoor concert on Friday night with great friends!!  I went with a bohemian outfit and you can see it here.  Saturday afternoon, I headed to DC to hang with my girlfriends and my old Redskins coach…he was back in the country for the weekend!!  We had as much fun as we used to…just appreciated it that much more knowing it happens so infrequently 🙁  I went preppy-feminine wearing this dress.  I wanted to get a white dress fix in before summer ends.

Do you “liketoknow.it”

Hopefully you do!!  Personally, it’s the way I shop the majority of the time.  When I see someone’s outfit on Instagram, I “like” the picture and then liketoknow.it sends me an email with the links to every item directly to your inbox.  Honestly, it’s that SIMPLE.

As a blogger, it is a huge honor to be accepted to liketoknow.it.  I received the exciting news last Monday!!!  We as bloggers AND consumers know that this service allows our friends and followers easier access to our outfits and what else we are featuring.

The first step is creating an account on Instagram, if you don’t have one already.  If you don’t…everyone’s doing it (COMPLETE PEER PRESSURE!!).  Then sign up for liketoknow.it HERE

It takes less than 2 minutes to sign up…go here…there is even a 1 minute and 25 second video to explain how it works.  The service is free and you don’t get spam from them, they only send you emails when you like a picture.

Once you see an outfit you like, see that there is a #liketoknowit tag in the bloggers text, like the photo and you’ll receive an email that looks like this —FullSizeRender-11FullSizeRender-13FullSizeRender-12FullSizeRender-15FullSizeRender-14FullSizeRender-17FullSizeRender-16

I promise it’s as simple and mindless as it appears.  It’s just pure convenience and in today’s world, that’s how we roll.  If you have any questions, let me know, I am more than willing to help 🙂
