Is everyone in full summer wedding mode?!?! We had a wedding in early July and have two more in October. I love weddings because it sentimentally brings me back to eight years ago when I married my TRUE LOVE (insert double heart emoji!!) Another reason I love weddings so much (and my husband would say this is the REAL reason) is because it is a great reason to DRESS YOUR BEST.
It’s actually a time when I go a little out of my comfort zone. Never inappropriate of course, I just usually venture a tad bit dressier or a bit more fun than my usual girls’ night out or date night attire. Here are some of my choices and I think one or two of these may make an appearance at the October weddings. Can you guess which ones?!?!
Have a GREAT weekend!!! I am starting mine with an afternoon date with the hubby. Is it silly how giddy and excited I get for these times with him!?!?
Dress 1 – Rachel Pally India Dress in Desert Flower
I just love SO MUCH about this dress. It continues the OTS trend and the length makes it oh so romantic!!
Dress 2 – Devon Baer Tassel Print Sleeveless Ruffle Dress
How fun is this one!?! I would recommend this for a more casual daytime wedding. The color, the print and the ruffles are a combination of pure CLASS.
Dress 3 – Ted Baker Marico Sleeveless Floral Print Dress
I gasped when I saw this dress. It’s just stunning and would be ideal for an evening black tie wedding.
Dress 4 – Jay Godfrey Verlaine Dress in Electric Blue
You can never go wrong with a cut like this, it’s incredibly flattering on everyone. Add the modern but subtle cut-out and it’s the ideal dress for a wedding guest dress.
Dress 5 – Blaque Label Long Sleeved Print Dress
I love dresses that are above the knee length yet have long sleeves. Then, add the pockets…LOVE!! And, this print is just so pretty!! (If it’s sold out at Revolve, check out Tuckernuck…www.tnuck.com)
Dress 6 – Chi Chi London Midi Dress with 3D Floral Appliqué
I think this dress is sweet and mature at the same time. The 3D appliqué gives it such a high quality look and add the right accessories and it’s the perfect summer wedding-guest dress.
Dress 7 – Tularosa Wrap Dress
I love the sultry and sexiness vibe this dress portrays but it does it in such a classy way. I think this is a perfect outdoor wedding dress (with wedges of course ;-))
Dress 8 – Lovedrobe Luxe Embellish Dress Plus Size
How gorgeous is this dress? The embellishment is flawless and the material is so flattering.
Dress 9 – J.Crew Bell Sleeve Crepe Dress
Two Words – Timeless and Classic. I love the bell sleeves and I also think it is the ideal dress for a cocktail-type wedding. AND under $70!!!
This dress is simple and classy in the front, the back is breathtaking. Throw in pops of color with your accessories and it’s perfection
Dress 10 – Blaque Label Backless Maxi Dress
Dress 11 – J.Crew Resume Dress
The sleeves on this dress make it a standout piece. They’re subtle but they also tell the story that you do not need to scream that you have amazing taste.
