***LOTS of pictures alert***
Last Saturday, myself, my mom, my sister and Leigha’s sister, Amanda, had a blast showering Leigha and Baby Marlee!! Leigha had her heart set on a tea party baby shower if she ever had a girl, so who are we to disappoint?!?!
Thank you Lex Designs Co for the gorgeous invitations!!!
I was not letting this opportunity pass to give a momma-to-be and her baby girl these perfect shirts!! Baby Marlee’s is size 3-6 month 🙂 Again, I ordered these through BabySmilesBoutique Etsy shop.
I always love to give something handmade (not by me unfortunately) and this hat and bootie set is from a local store in Leonardtown – the Crafter’s Guild
I actually went in Matti Jane’s room and “borrowed” a couple of things for decoration. This vintage cradle was purchased a couple of years ago at The Vintage Source in Compton, Maryland. If you haven’t been, it’s a MUST SEE!!
I can’t even with these tutus!!! They are baby doll size and I purchased them from TutuCuteByNicole Etsy shop
The night before prep work. This pink desk was purchased by my parents at an Amish Auction a couple of months ago. It was the perfect drink station!! Mimosas anyone?!?!
I purchased all of my roses from Giant…the best flower selection and you cannot beat the prices!!
This vintage high chair (also borrowed from Matti Jane’s room), is also another purchase from The Vintage Source!!
I had SO MUCH FUN with this DIY project!! I was inspired by a picture I saw on Pinterest (shocker!) and went to town. Letters were less than $2 each from Joann’s, gold spray paint from Lowe’s and roses from Giant.
TA DA!!!!!
And I used acrylic easels I purchased from Michael’s (around $5) to display them.
Leigha’s sister made the favors. So adorable AND practical…I used my tea bag on Sunday morning!
some may say I have an issue with balloons (actually just my husband and mother…), I love them!!
I did order one professional flower arrangement for the food table from David’s Flowers in Leonardtown. Everything he does is amazing!!!
Leigha had found a tea pot cake on Pinterest and asked her friend Sam to recreate it and she nailed it!!! Even more adorable in person!!
Onesie flower bouquet (I wish I could say I made it). Leigha’s sister had them made 🙂
The momma and daddy of baby Marlee
Leigha surprised her sister and I with these shadow boxes that had a picture of Marlee’s sonogram, a note that asked us to be her Godmother and an Alex and Ani bracelet that says “godmother” on it.
So so so honored!!!
// J.Crew Breton Striped Shirt (I wear this shirt all the time, usually casual, but loved how it dressed up easily!!) // Chicwish Skirt** // Christian Louboutin Heels (Similar under $100) //
**This is the same skirt from this post, I decided as much as I LOVE the length, I wasn’t entirely practical. So, I had it hemmed and plan on wearing it A LOT!!
Julie says
Gorgeous! and what a perfect idea to hem the skirt!
Emilee says
